Ten years after their last album, Breakdown of Sanity returns with a new chapter. On November 6, 2026, their fifth studio album Reveries will be released by the Swiss metalcore band. At the same time, the album gives its name to the upcoming REVERIES TOUR 2027. Since their formation in 2007, Breakdown of Sanity has secured a firm place in European metalcore. With albums like Mirrors and especially Perception, the band has gained recognition far beyond the Swiss scene. In 2016, Coexistence followed as their last studio album to date. After a multi-year break, Breakdown of Sanity returned in 2020 with new music. From 2024, they also returned to the stage. Since then, a lot has changed. After changes in drums and vocals, the band now presents itself with a new lineup, without losing sight of what has made Breakdown of Sanity for almost two decades.
Massive breakdowns, melodic guitars, raw emotion, and songs about personal abysses as well as societal issues form the core of the sound on Reveries. In spring 2027, the band will finally bring the new album to European stages. The REVERIES TOUR combines new material with the songs that have made Breakdown of Sanity a well-known name in the metalcore scene over the past years.
