In breathtaking speed, the play Bonnie, Clyde, and the Barrow Gang follows their robbery spree and explores the core of their myth: the despair of a young generation that sees no future for itself other than illegality in the face of the economic crisis. They dream of a quiet life – and storm a bank with a gun in hand. This contrast drives them further and further, faster and faster – to the inevitable end.
