Description

Bon Jour has established itself in the Austrian music scene in a short time. After supporting shows for Alt-J, Bukahara, placements in the FM4 charts, and sold-out concerts, the six musicians have long since moved out of the newcomer status. Their debut album Growth, released in 2023, was well received by the press and led to national and international festival appearances, including Lido Sounds, Szene Open Air, Waves Vienna, The Great Escape, Eurosonic, Reeperbahn Festival, and Frequency. The second studio album will follow in 2026. The new sound remains catchy but is more airy, colorful, and intuitive – a natural evolution with influences from Psychedelic-Funk, Pop, Surf-Rock, and groovy Indie. We welcome Bon Jour with their new album on our Chessu stage. Live, the pieces feel more direct, lighter, and danceable, with more room for spontaneity. The concerts retain their depth, open up simultaneously, and invite you to lose yourself in the music.
