Description

It can be quite simple: Place an ad in your local weekly newspaper with the following content: "Looking to form a blues band. Seeking nice people." And back then, 14 people with the same ambitions responded. Okay. Not all. But for a normal blues band, 14 musicians would have been too many.
After a short time, the number of interested parties reduced to six. Three members from the founding year 1995 have made it to the present day. Shortly after, the band name was also decided: "Uncle Benz" was to be our name from then on. Our band was called that until 2003. At that time, German lawyers of the similarly named American record producer, due to the protected brand name and for reasons that are not clear to us, went after "small" bands. From then on, we called ourselves Blues Inc. (blues incorporated).
Many performances followed, mostly in southern Germany. The reviews are consistently positive. Moreover, we have immense fun playing live blues. The 10th anniversary in 2005 was celebrated with friends, relatives, and fans in Ravensburg.
At the end of 2009, Joe left the band and we were looking for a suitable replacement. As soon as this was found, he was gone (professionally). The program was modified, but since we didn't want to give up the harp entirely, Thomas quickly took over the position. Thus, he plays a "double role" on stage.
In 2012, Volker and Ramon left the band. With Roland Bochno on bass and Oliver Hirmke on drums, a worthy replacement was soon found. With the new lineup, we quickly got back on track! Videos:
