Description

The band Blingtext focuses on disorientation in their new EP «Lieber hüt». The five songs tell stories of discovery trips in the singles market beyond the age of thirty, dealing with losses of people and life circumstances to which one has become far too accustomed, ticking clocks, missing compasses, and solutions that keep you waiting. Always with a pinch of irony, a pressing impatience, and a longing for answers they would prefer to have today — but probably won't have even the day after tomorrow. Since the last album, Blingtext has also musically reoriented itself. With Nadine Lüthy, a voice joins the band that gives the songs a whole new shine and the lyrics another perspective. Otherwise, the band remains true to its concept and experiments with every music style that currently inspires them. Their live shows continue to brim with energy, and despite disorientation, Blingtext seems more focused than ever. The future can come – preferably today already, but at the latest tomorrow!
