Blechschaden: 2025 with new program on tour. The globally known "fun faction" of the Munich Philharmonic demonstrates with each performance that any kind of music, whether pop or opera, musical or classical symphony, can become a pleasure if presented correctly, i.e., unconventionally. Even in their new program for the 2025 tour, the philharmonic "foreign legionaries" mix various musical genres into a highly entertaining melody cocktail, garnished with hilarious moderations and acts. Especially their Scottish conductor Bob Ross generously and un-Scottishly taps into the humor box. Whether "Classical, but with humor" ("Nessun dorma" from Puccini's opera "Turandot"), musical hits "in Blech" ("I Don’t Know To Love Him" from Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar"), or a suddenly orchestral pop anthem ("Earth, Wind and Blechschaden Fire"): Despite the serious professionalism with which the musicians master their instruments, Blechschaden always aims to entertain the audience with fun around and about music. Can this be done in Bavaria without Bavarian? Of course not! So, something hearty like the "Steingadener Musikantenmarsch" is also included.
