Experience firsthand during this two-and-a-half-hour circular hike why the beaver can be compared to a lumberjack and how the beaver lives in its lodge. Learn about its social behaviors and lifestyles through different beaver tracks on the WWF St. Gallen beaver trail. What are the functions of the tail (the beaver's tail)? What is beaver fat and why was it so popular? On this excursion, you'll learn why this shy animal is endangered and why it was almost wiped out a few years ago. With a bit of luck, you might even discover a beaver dam.
