Live performer Cinematic-Techno has a name: Biandapid. The trio around Kenny Niggli (Synths, Voc), Fabian Hänni (Drums), and Daniel Somaroo (Bass, Guitar, Voc) met at ZHdK and have since made one thing clear: they do not know sterile button-pressing techno or play button routines – they prefer to escalate everything in real time and are happy to tear the stage apart (sound-wise, of course). Kenny is spinning in his synth palace, Fabian is pounding his drum set with sweat-inducing energy, and Daniel maintains the energetic foundation with focused precision. All live, all real, all captivating. AND NOW IT'S BEING LAUNCHED! Biandapid celebrate the album launch of their second album «Recollection» (2026). After the debut album «Contemplations» (2021), the trio concludes a multi-year creative phase during which they explored questions of uprooting, identity, and belonging musically. Cinematic soundscapes have emerged that evoke memories or just fragments of them. «Recollection» does not see memories as nostalgic retrospection but as a complex process – something fragile, constantly changing, and often contradictory. Anyone who has experienced Biandapid live knows: this will not be a small concert, but a crashing state of exception between epic, unrestrained activity and quiet, contemplative moments.
