Description
20:00 JUNES (Support) Junes stands for honesty, introspection, and emotional intimacy. Blending folk, indie, pop, electronic soundscapes, and R&B-inspired sounds, the Zurich artist combines his diverse influences into a sound that feels both personal and expansive. 21:30 BIANDAPID Live performed Cinematic-Techno has a name: Biandapid. The trio consisting of Kenny Niggli (Synths, Voc), Fabian Hänni (Drums), and Daniel Somaroo (Bass, Guitar, Voc) met at ZHdK and has made one thing clear since: they do not know sterile button-press techno or playbutton routine – they prefer to let everything escalate in real-time and are happy to tear the stage apart (sound-wise, of course). Kenny performs in his synth palace, Fabian sweats it out through his drum set, and Daniel maintains the energetic foundation with focused precision. Everything live, everything real, everything captivating. Biandapid is taking their new album 'Recollection' (2026) on a small but fine tour, returning to Mehrspur. After their debut album 'Contemplations' (2021), the trio concludes a multi-year creative phase in which they musically explored questions of uprooting, identity, and belonging. The result is cinematic soundscapes that evoke memories or just fragments of them. 'Recollection' understands memories not as nostalgic reflections but as a multifaceted process – something fragile, constantly changing, and often contradictory. Those who have experienced Biandapid live know: this will not be a small concert, but a crashing state of exception between epic, unrestrained activity and quiet, contemplative moments. At Mehrspur, Biandapid will be supported by Zurich musician Junes, who can be heard as a featured vocalist on numerous Biandapid tracks and will also open the evening. Students of ZHdK enjoy free admission upon presentation of an ID. Contributors and additional information: - Kenny Niggli: Synths, Vocals
