A literary-musical homage to the great humorist Loriot, starring Martin Brambach (the actor portraying the Dresden 'Tatort' investigator Schnabel), actress Christine Sommer, and Dietmar Loeffler. When a breakfast egg is overcooked, the TV is broken, or politics are debated, scenes from a marriage quickly turn into bitter marital scenes. And anyone who then thinks only marriage counseling can help will be taught better by Loriot. Vicco von Bülow, alias 'Loriot', was one of the greatest German humorists. Few others have shaped German humor with their TV sketches, cartoons, and films. "The Heinzelmann sucks and blows where Mom can only suck" or "Maybe there's something wrong with your feeling" and of course "Women and men just don't fit together" are long-standing classic quotes. Film, TV, and stage star Martin Brambach and the well-known actress Christine Sommer recall Loriot's most delightful dialogues. With a keen sense of timing and characters, they bring his unforgettable sketches — from marital crises at the breakfast table to absurd TV debates — to the stage. They are musically and dialogically supported by Dietmar Loeffler, who, as a pianist, author, and director, is among the most versatile artists in the German theater scene. An unbeatable trio!
