Mozart zum Kugeln - News from the Little Laughter Music

Description

This is how you've never experienced classical music! "Mozart zum Kugeln" brings a humorous musical-literary event of the highest class with Klaus Wallendorf, the horn player of German Brass, and pianist Andreas Kowalewitz. As a warning, the cheerful gentlemen's duo "Lachmusik" often introduces their performances by stating that a 90-minute attack on the visitors' diaphragms is imminent – and that's true! Wallendorf and Kowalewitz present more diaphragm cases from the ball bearing of Mozart & Friends. The program is aimed at an audience that does not laugh at every nonsense. The audience hears excerpts from masterpieces by deceased and various composers. The duo, a brilliant double act from Philharmonie (Berlin) and Theater (Regensburg), undertakes a concerted balancing act between philharmonic unseriousness and virtuoso foolishness. Pianist and conductor Andreas Kowalewitz, together with Klaus Wallendorf (holder of the Bahncard 50), takes on a broad repertoire permeated with cabaret humor: to be heard, seen, and enjoyed are Brahms' Animal Life, Mozart in Kreuzberg, Waltz from Vogelweide, Single-cells and Bestsellers, Futuristic Couplets, Armagnac, but rich in impressions and daily smiles without wrinkles (from the 40-minute encore block), and so cheerful and so forth ...
