Description
Berre (25) is a Belgian singer-songwriter who has come a long way from online videos to the biggest stages in the country. His distinctive voice first gained attention on TikTok, where his cover of Freya Ridings’ "Lost Without You" garnered millions of views. Not long after, he started releasing his own songs and told very personal stories with his rough, unmistakable voice. Instead of explaining his feelings, Berre lets them speak through his songs: music that resonates with a broad audience due to its honesty and vulnerability. His debut single "Say My Name" was a huge hit, followed by "Better OS Alone," "Thrill Of It All," "Kissing Strangers," and "Happier," all of which achieved gold status individually. In 2024, Berre released his debut album "I’ll Call You When I’m Home," which debuted at number one on the Belgian charts. In 2025, he wrote the official theme song for the annual "De Warmste Week," "How Beautiful This Life Is," a song about invisible illnesses that reached the top of the Belgian sales and radio charts. Berre, known for his warm stage presence and powerful voice, has performed at major festivals like Rock Werchter and sold-out venues like Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. In January 2025, he received his first MIA Award for Album of the Year.
