Two voices, two violins – sometimes a bit of baritone ukulele. desdëa is the heartfelt project of the classically trained violinists Andrina Däppen and Zoë Gordon. Rooted in Southeast Switzerland and the Romandy, they present sung folk and pop songs in six languages as well as classical instrumental pieces from various eras – lively, unconventional, with heart. In their intimate setting, a touching and imaginative multi-voice emerges that connects and moves. desdëa takes the audience on a versatile sound journey full of emotions and stories.
