The cello and violin, two warm and resonant sound bodies that blend into each other, both as solo and accompanying instruments; from this union, an astonishing and impressive sound image emerges. The audience will hear, on the one hand, well-known solo and duo pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven. On the other hand, listeners can expect a musical feast from Romanticism, Tango, and salon music. Be surprised by this special sibling duo! The musical bouquet is presented by the Duo Hunziker with warm sound bodies and their empathetic interplay. Daniela Roos and Maja Hunziker are professional musicians and have performed worldwide. Besides their great passion for chamber music, Daniela Roos, cello, plays in renowned Swiss orchestras such as the Swiss Orchestra and the Sinfonieorchester Camerata Schweiz and is active with the Trio Sorriso (café house music) and the Duo Escarlata (cello and accordion). Maja Hunziker is touring worldwide with her Quinteto de Tango, Sexteto Cristal, and the ensemble Vinorosso, and also performs with the Swiss Orchestra and the Barockwerk Hamburg.
