Description
In the summer of 1939, Albert Meyer disappeared. He mounted his bicycle, leaving work, family, the looming war, his worries, and his world-weariness behind, and rode away. With his three-speed bike, he pedaled through Switzerland, over several Alpine passes, until he found peace, clarity, and confidence. Then he returned. This is his story. And that of his grandson, Benedikt Meyer, who repeated the journey decades later – also with three gears. Free admission. In collaboration with the Health Promotion Baselland and the Psychiatry Baselland. An event as part of the national campaign «How are you?»
