Description

In 2012, Gerry McAvoy founded Band of Friends after rediscovering his once-lost vinyl collection.

He revisited his twenty-year collaboration with Rory Gallagher by listening to their shared records. He then decided to go on tour again with the wonderful music of Rory Gallagher, which he helped shape with his distinctive bass playing over twenty years, along with other songs.

Gerry McAvoy, drummer Brendan O’Neill (Rory Gallagher, Nine Below Zero), and one or two great guitarists honor us with the legendary Band of Friends.
