Description

Balter stands for an energetic mix of improvisational freedom and powerful rock groove – a band that pushes boundaries and takes the audience on a musical journey. The band Balter is an innovative quartet that skillfully pushes the limits between modern jazz and rock. Our compositions, written by Max Weber, focus on captivating grooves and creative improvisations. Aaron Leutennegger on drums and Max Weber on trombone have deep roots in jazz and free improvisation, giving our music a spontaneous, lively note. Fabian Volkers on electric bass and Ivan Gruber on electric guitar are also trained jazz musicians who are active in several rock bands at the same time. These versatile backgrounds merge in our sound into powerful vamps that are rhythmically engaging and dynamically flexible. Band members
