Description

A stressful lifestyle can cause illness in the long term. Therefore, relaxation should not be seen as a luxury but as a necessary part of a healthy life. By integrating relaxation exercises into your daily routine, you strengthen yourself and simultaneously reduce harmful stress.

Why relaxation is so important:
Every person urgently needs phases of rest and deep relaxation. When the balance between tension and relaxation is lost, our performance, well-being, and ultimately our health suffer.

The reason: Under stress, the body releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol. Without subsequent relaxation, these stress hormones cannot be broken down, which can lead to serious health problems such as high blood pressure, digestive problems, muscle tension, chronic headaches, sleep disorders, and burnout. Listen to the signals of your body and take them seriously.

Positive effects of mindfulness and relaxation exercises:
Targeted relaxation exercises lead to a state of inner calm.

This has numerous positive effects on body and mind:

  • Improved concentration
  • Lowering of pulse and blood pressure
  • Deeper, calming breathing
  • Muscle relaxation and better oxygen supply
  • Release of happiness hormones

Through regular mindfulness and relaxation exercises, you learn to better cope with stress. Stressful situations are inevitable, but how you deal with them is crucial. Regular training makes us calmer, more attentive, and more resilient.

Mindfulness supported by Middendorf breathing
Middendorf breathing is not just about inhaling and exhaling but about experiencing the breath as a life force that connects us with our inner self and the universe. The focus is on mindfulness, awareness, and the natural rhythms of the body. At its core, it is about developing an understanding of how the breath influences our physical and emotional state.

Procedure of a mindfulness afternoon/evening at Soulness:
Our mindfulness afternoons at Soulness offer an effective way to reduce stress and find inner peace. Every Monday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm or Tuesday from 7 pm to 9 pm, you can participate in our mindfulness and relaxation sessions.

Our program includes:

  • Introduction to mindfulness: At the beginning, we tune in with mindfulness exercises and thus arrive in the here and now.
  • Breathing exercises: These deepen relaxation and give new strength.
  • Mindfulness meditation: relax, let go, perceive the body without judgment.
  • Closing ritual: A short but effective ritual that gives you calmness and strength for the coming week.
  • Exchange and inputs: Benefit from group exchange and be inspired by the experiences and suggestions of other participants.

Join our mindfulness afternoons and learn how to sustainably reduce stress with mindfulness and targeted exercises. Your health and well-being will thank you.
