BAGAGE, SZ (Post-Hardcore) & TOUSHAR, BE (Alternative Post-Metal) On Saturday, October 17, 2026, it will be loud in the Kult-Turm. BAGAGE are playing at home: Mathias Marty from Küssnacht, Nico Reichlin from Brunnen, and Tobias Zehnder from Ibach have been practicing post-hardcore together since they started in 2024 in the rehearsal room in Goldau. They bring over 50 years of band experience in folk pop, post-punk, alternative rock, metal, and hardcore. If you're at the bar in Seewen, you probably know at least one of the three. Plus, there's TOUSHAR from Bern. Alternative rock and post-metal, along with electronic soundscapes and club beats. The band collective around producer Remo Häberli and artist Philipp Thöni, with roots in bands like Posthumanbigbang and Unhold, layers their sounds into epic formations. Bagage
Mathias already had over 20 song ideas on his hard drive when Tobi told him, "You have to get it out." The two had previously played together in the hardcore band "Das Empire," which ended in 2014. Nico joined after a shared concert and has been writing lyrics ever since. Previously, he was engaged in a folk-pop duo. That's how it can go. Since early 2024, the three from Ibach, Küssnacht, and Brunnen have been rehearsing in Aeschi in Goldau. What comes out of it, they call post-hardcore as the soundtrack to a film noir. Loud, but with room to breathe. References for those who want to categorize: Brutus, Birds in Row, Billy Talent, Cave In. The band has played seven shows, including support for Svalbard at Dynamo Werk21 Zurich and performances at Sedel Club Lucerne and Gaswerk Seewen. Three singles are out, an EP is coming at the turn of the year. All independently, without a label, alongside jobs and family. Mathias Marty said it in the Bote der Urschweiz: "We don't live under the illusion that the world has been waiting for us. But those who engage with us embark on an intense journey..." TOUSHAR is a band collective from Bern. Behind it are Remo Häberli, producer (Chelsea Deadbeat Combo, E-L-R) and musician (Posthumanbigbang), as well as artist and musician Philipp Thöni, known from BlackYard, Pless, and Unhold. Together with drummer Remo Röschli and guitarist Nicola Graber, the four create an incredible dynamic that moves every music fan. Their sound combines contemporary alternative rock and post-metal with electronic soundscapes and club music. Polyphonic singing, arrangements learned from pop music, and beats that work in sweaty clubs. On the debut album "Season 1," you hear both: the power and the danceability. TOUSHAR has performed at ISC Club Bern, at the Sedel music center in Lucerne (with BAGAGE), and at Mokka Thun. They shared their debut concert in 2023 with LYVTEN, the former band of BAGAGE drummer Tobi. The evening at the Kult-Turm is also a reunion.
