In the face of fragmented languages and isolating walls, BABEL. TORRE VIVA affirms that the body is still capable of expressing the essential. If there is a chance today for a common language in our world, it is undoubtedly that of music and dance.
David Coria is a symbolic figure of the flamenco avant-garde. His choreographic compositions, the aesthetics of his creations, and the socio-political engagement of his works make him one of the most interesting and fascinating Spanish choreographers today. Seven dancers and a singer accompany him to bring this Tower of Babel to life.
David Coria is no stranger in Baden. His company, Compañía David Coria, last performed in December 2021 with ¡FANDANGO! at the Kurtheater. He was also seen in summer 2025 at the Klosterkirche Königsfelden as Don José in Filipe Portugal's successful "Carmen" choreography.
