27th Lago Maggiore and Valli Gastronomic Autumn When the trees start to change color and the scent of roasted chestnuts fills the streets, the kitchens of the Ascona-Locarno region are ready to serve delicious dishes at full speed. Autumn offers a wide range of local products, which are transformed into delicious dishes in the region's restaurants and grotti. During this period, thanks to the culinary weeks of Autunno Gastronomico, now in their 26th edition, pots are bubbling to prepare traditional dishes made from fresh ingredients from our forests and valleys. Born from the collaboration between the Bassi printing house in Locarno and Ascona-Locarno Tourism, Autunno Gastronomico brings together more than 20 restaurants and a wide range of specialties.
