SOLD OUT The Bones of J. R. Jones

Description

Radio Waves On Monday, October 5, 2026, The Bones of J. R. Jones, the one-man band by Jonathon Linaberry, will perform at the Hafenkneipe Zürich. There, he will present his new album Radio Waves and take the audience on an atmospheric journey full of memories and longing. Radio Waves, Linaberry's sixth album as The Bones of J. R. Jones, reflects the soundscapes of his youth while capturing the doubts and uncertainties of today’s life. Together with producer Robbie Lackritz (Feist, Bahamas), Linaberry has created a hypnotic collection of songs based on the balance between acoustic instruments and retro synthesizers. The performances are direct, emotional, and touching, often vulnerable, allowing listeners to deeply immerse themselves in the music. Born in New York, Linaberry started his career in punk bands. Since the formation of The Bones of J. R. Bones in 2012, he has released albums and EPs whose songs have been featured in series like True Detective, Suits, and Daredevil. On numerous tours across the USA and Europe, Linaberry has shared the stage with giants like The Wallflowers and G. Love, performed at countless festivals, and composed the soundtrack for a commercial directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi. Radio Waves is a personal, reflective portrait of an artist transforming his stories into music. Experiencing The Bones of J. R. Jones live immerses you in an intense, intimate atmosphere that lingers long after. The Hafenkneipe Zürich offers the perfect setting – an evening full of emotion, sound, and a distinctive voice.
