Description

This exhibition at Schloss Greifensee explores the evolution of knightly orders, from their origins in the 12th century as military and religious groups to their modern forms as communities dedicated to values and social engagement. Visitors can learn about the historical significance of orders like the Templars and Johanniter, as well as contemporary organizations such as the St. Georgs-Orden Schweiz, which focus on social projects and animal welfare. The event features a dialogue format called Resonanzraum, encouraging direct interaction between the public and order members, and includes the 'Sterbensmutig' art project addressing mortality and human finiteness.
