Aurora Edition – Drone & Ambient Festival

Description

On November 14, 2026, Aurora Edition transforms the historic, listed crematorium Sihlfeld in Zurich into an immersive sound space dedicated to drone, ambient, and neoclassical music. The event highlights the reactivation of a 1914 pipe organ as the centerpiece, blending sound, architecture, and transience. International and Swiss artists such as Abul Mogard, NYX, Elisabeth Hubmann, Michele Del Prete, Yanling, Amedeo Cappelletti, and Axel Kolb will perform in this sacred venue, enhanced by mystical lighting by Tym Novy. The festival also features two interdisciplinary workshops: a Vocal Embodiment Workshop by NYX on November 13 and a freestyle Ikebana arrangement session with Christian Kōun Alborz Oldham on November 15.
