Description
"Theological Aesthetics of Art" is a first comprehensive reflection on all art genres from a theological perspective. Schelling and Hegel created a philosophy of all art genres of their time. This work presents a theological counterpart, in which painting, sculpture, poetry, music, architecture, but also newer art forms like film are treated, considering the upheavals caused by the advent of modernity and newer aesthetic designs as well as the entire tradition, and includes a localization of sacred Christian art.
