In partnership with Les Ateliers de réhabilitation, the Musée de la main UNIL / CHUV, and the Swiss National Fund.
Supported by scientific studies (WHO 2019), art is beneficial for health and contributes to well-being and healing. It is a non-specific treatment aimed at overall health rather than a particular pathology. On one hand, the location (hospital), as well as the status (staff, patient, or relative, etc.), lead to different interpretations of the works. On the other hand, at CHUV, some people look at artworks, listen to music, or attend a theatrical performance, while others choose a work for a workspace or reception area, collect passionately, participate in a workshop, or create art. Having an aesthetic experience can be enjoyable, thought-provoking, and sometimes unsettling.

The ART+HÔPITAL event presents a series of six exhibitions in Lausanne, showcasing works by various artists. In partnership with several institutions, this event explores the positive impact of art on the health and well-being of patients and hospital staff.
