The great creativity and connection of the young duet partners enable a harmonious and profound interplay. Antoine Boyer is inspired by the most authentic sources of Gypsy Jazz after studying with masters like Mandino Reinhardt and Francis Alfred Moerman. He has extensively toured and performed on stages at numerous Gypsy Jazz festivals across Europe and the USA, sharing the stage with guitarists such as Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Raphael Fays, and many others. Antoine masters Gypsy Jazz and is also a classically trained guitarist, who won the renowned Montigny Competition for classical guitar in 2015 and was awarded the 'Révélation Guitare Classique 2016' prize by the esteemed French magazine Guitare Classique. His versatile musical background has shaped a unique playing style that seamlessly combines various guitar techniques he has acquired over the years. Yeore Kim, a virtuoso on the harmonica, has been a prominent figure in the Korean jazz scene since her youth. As a multi-instrumentalist, she masters trumpet, drums, cello, and piano. Yeore holds a master's degree from Seoul Music University and has achieved victories at renowned competitions such as the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival, Seoul Harmonica Festival, and World Harmonica Festival. She has contributed her talent to various music groups and has undertaken extensive tours in Korea, India, Japan, and most recently in Europe. Her work spans genres from jazz and reggae to theater collaborations, tango, pop, and rock. The paths of Antoine and Yeore crossed in 2018 at the Gypsy Jazz Festival in Taipei, Taiwan, where they performed together for the first time. When they recognized the magic of their musical connection, they decided to form a duo — both in music and in life. Their musical chemistry knows no bounds and captivates audiences with a repertoire ranging from pop and jazz standards to fascinating original compositions.
