A heavenly Christmas fairy tale for children aged 6 and up and the whole family. "But if you don't have time for it, you simply don't have to be afraid." And indeed, Anneliese and Peterchen really have no time to be afraid. Because May beetle Sumsemann needs their help! Since many, many years ago, an evil wood thief felled the birch of his great-great-grandfather, the May beetles are missing a little leg. And now, the May beetle children have been dancing for generations with only five instead of six legs. The lost leg is on the moon and waiting to be picked up again. So, what do you need for that? Two brave children and a five-legged May beetle. Apples as provisions, a doll and a jump rope as travel companions, a sword for emergencies, a small violin and a song for the road: "...All little beetles dance; Ring-a-ring, Dideldudeldei! Around the thick linden tree with humming, clockwise, counterclockwise, Buzz, buzz, buzz!" And then the journey can begin! Out into the winter night, past singing stars and wondrous celestial shapes, ever onward to the moon. Because there, the lost leg awaits—and the evil wood thief. General Information

Anneliese's and Peterchen's Moon Journey is a children's play that tells the story of Anneliese and Peterchen helping a May beetle to retrieve its lost leg from the moon. The performance takes place at the monsun.theater in Hamburg and offers a fantastical experience for the whole family.
