Reading with musical accompaniment The book gives a voice to the people behind the headlines. Anicia Kohler traveled through Switzerland and visited people from mountain villages such as Kandersteg, Brienz, Blatten, Gondo, and Bondo. In conversations, the portrayed individuals share stories of anxious days and painful loss – but also of love, friendships, and solidarity. Many of them have been featured in the media before and now have space to tell more of their story: about their childhood in the village, about the centuries-old awareness of the mountains, which are both protection and danger.
