The Altstadt Swing takes place four times a year at the Alte Kaserne Winterthur, organized by the Swingscouts Winterthur association. It offers an authentic experience of Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Shag dance styles, set to live jazz music complemented by a DJ. Attendees can participate in a beginner-friendly crash course at 7:45 PM, learning the basics of Lindy Hop without prior registration or a partner. The event attracts both beginners and experienced dancers, creating a vibrant and historic atmosphere in Winterthur.
