Description
When we celebrate All Saints and All Souls, we are reminded that we stand in a great community that includes not only the living but also the deceased, even if they live in a "different" world: On All Saints' Day, we celebrate all who have already been received into the eternal community with God. On All Souls' Day, we visit and decorate the graves. We remember what the deceased person was and what they meant to us and pray that God grants them life in abundance. The awareness of standing in such a great community that has gone before on the path of faith can give us a sense of security and safety. In the celebration at 1:30 p.m., we commemorate our deceased and all the deceased: After the service, we go together to the cemetery. The celebration is framed by a brass group from the Weinfelden Music Association. Afterwards, at about 2:30 p.m., you are warmly invited to our coffee room in the parish center. The Blauring-Girls will serve you. Armin Ruf, community leader
