The October Evening S will belong to those who know that music can take many forms and dimensions. Alice and Jiří Halada, musicians and educators closely connected to the South Bohemian music scene, will combine piano and saxophone in an intimate duo. Kuba Slavíček's work is rooted in tramp traditions but naturally approaches folk and folk rock without losing its tramp spirit. The six-member band Le Plaisir from Humpolec and the surrounding area will offer a sensitive blend of chanson, folk, jazz, and Latin American rhythms. Their repertoire primarily features songs by Hana Hegerová, Zuzana Navarová, and Lenka Nová. A musical mix is prepared for you with a clear intention that Evenings S are a space not only for South Bohemian bands and songwriters.
