Description
An unexpected fresco on mourning, funny, tender, and biting, populated with portraits as human as they are moving.
Two years after the death of his father, Alex Lutz makes mourning a lucid artistic material, moving but also funny and deeply human. To tell the passing of time, he creates a gallery of striking portraits: the father, of course, but also mothers-in-law, acquaintances, a priest, all characters embodying generations, their impulses, and contradictions. A total artist, twice awarded at the Molières, Alex Lutz offers here a brilliant fresco, blending humor, tenderness, and cruelty, always distant from pathos. As the actor himself says: "We gallop, we manage, we scan QR codes, we password, we upload, we Wi-Fi, we don't catch, we are rustic, we plug, we cloud, we protect our data, we data-center, we refocus, we breathe from the belly, we reboot, we walk in the forest, we influence, we transfer, we liberate, we love the earth, we are off, we are followed, we turn rarely, we show kindness, we resilience, we detox, we have sorted everything, we are a beautiful soul, we pronote, we relive, we gallop, we gallop, we gallop. We bury our father and rock'n roll what remains... but we laugh."
