Three universes, three impulses, the same joy of listening, for an event where music is invented, told, and radiates.
Between storytelling, creation, and orchestral brilliance, this concert unfolds three contrasting faces of music. With Pierre and the Wolf, Prokofiev creates a sound theater full of mischief and poetry, where each instrument becomes a character. The evening continues with the premiere of the Concerto for Two Marimbas and Orchestra by Étienne Crausaz, performed by the Tchiki Duo: a vibrant work written to celebrate twenty years of musical complicity. Finally, Prokofiev's Classical Symphony takes the orchestra on a lively, elegant, and luminous journey. A sensitive and joyful crossing, to be experienced as an invitation to listen differently.
Around the show – Expedition to the land of Pierre and the Wolf Free workshop for children aged 4 to 9 In the first part, children will discover the famous musical tale Pierre and the Wolf by listening to the OCF in the concert hall. They will meet Pierre, the wolf, the bird, the duck, and many other characters… but most importantly, they will discover how instruments can bring characters to life, tell a story, and evoke emotions. During the intermission, children will join a workshop designed especially for them while parents and older children attend the second part of the concert. A playful moment combining movement, imagination, and listening. Through a musical treasure hunt, they will search for clues hidden in sounds, recognize instruments, and relive the adventure in a different way, becoming explorers of music. At the end of the course, a surprise will reward the young adventurers!
Practical information

• Children aged 4 to 9 (without parents)
• Schedule: from the start of the intermission until the end of the concert.
• Meeting point: on the ground floor, at the bottom of the staircase on the side of the odd-numbered seats.
• Duration of the workshop: 50 minutes
