Alaska – Encounters in the Last Wilderness Conference by Hansruedi Weyrich (nature photographer) Since wildlife photographer Hansruedi Weyrich first encountered a brown bear in the wilds of Alaska in 1993, his initial fear has transformed into deep respect and great fascination for these impressive animals. Since then, he has continually returned to the Far North, where the untouched nature, grand landscapes, and sometimes very close encounters with grizzlies captivate him. In his conference, Hansruedi Weyrich takes the audience to meet the coastal grizzlies of Alaska and offers a fascinating insight into the lives of these powerful terrestrial predators.
