From being a rap wunderkind, he has now transitioned to a world filled with guitars, Latin American rhythms, and Spanish singing: Bouncy cumbia and salsa smoothness set the easy-footed, dreamlike tempo here, combined with sophisticated production techniques that make the sound of the Zurich musician pulse young and contemporary. Warmly swirling and dynamically lush, these textures are dense and deep, also influenced by Hayao Miyazaki's spiritually tinged environmental ethos.
