With heartfelt melodies and contemplative Alpine tunes, the concert "Advent Folk Music in the Castle" brings the magic of the Advent and Christmas season to life in the Tettnang Knight's Hall as a beautiful tradition. Beyond the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the folk music and singing of the Allgäu family Althaus, as well as the Tettnang harp duo with Simone Häusler and Vera Witt, invite the audience to sing and play into the fascinating world of traditional Alpine folk music. Christmas stories will be narrated this year by Helmut Rothmayr from Oberallgäu. For seven years, Helmut Rothmayr has used the time gifted by retirement to establish himself not only as the director of the musical group WIR18 but also as a dialect author, songwriter, and cabaret artist.
