Description

The traditional texts of Swabian Advent and Christmas songs and Advent texts testify to a deep yet cheerful folk piety. These stories, poems, and melodies were sung and told not only within families but also especially in the Hoh-, Spinn-, Kunkel-, and Lichtstuben in the towns and villages of our homeland. At these gatherings, not only music was played; dancing, celebrating, drinking, chatting, storytelling, rhyming, and teasing also took place...! Bernhard "Barny" Bitterwolf, known as an Upper Swabian bard, and Edi Graf, radio host and author from Wurmlingen near Rottenburg am Neckar, spread authentic Swabian Christmas atmosphere with stories, poems, music, and historical instruments. Of course, the two experienced entertainers also invite participation. Look forward to an entertaining and amusing interruption of the usual Advent hecticness in today's times.
