The artist Adolf Dietrich lived and worked in the Dietrich-Haus in Berlingen from 1877 to 1957. His painting studio on the first floor has remained unchanged since his death. Here he painted over a thousand pictures, securing his firm place in the art history of the 20th century. This special place offers vivid insights into the personality of the artist. In the studio, the two gardens, and a documentation room, the life and art of the painter can be discovered like nowhere else. Every event as part of the summer program 2026 ends with an aperitif in Adolf Dietrich's garden with a view of the lake and the Höri. There is hardly a better opportunity to trace Adolf Dietrich's vision in a relaxed conversation with other guests. Participation in the events and the aperitif is free of charge. With a voluntary contribution and/or membership in the Thurgau Art Society, help is provided to ensure the operation of the Adolf Dietrich-Haus.
