Acid Row Acid Row is a Czech band that has been active since 2012, known for its explosive mix of stoner rock and punk, spiced with elements of doom, psychedelia, and 90s grunge. Originally formed in Plzeň, they moved to Prague in 2019. They are famous for their energetic concerts and a penchant for a dark, slightly 'devilish' aesthetic. Today, they perform as a trio consisting of Alex Fonar (vocals, bass), Dominik Klesa (guitar), and Radek Bacík (drums). Acid Row gained wider recognition with their debut album Spikes (2018), followed by the critically acclaimed album Afterglow (2022), which also made its mark on the international Doom Charts. Their third studio album Poisoned Mind (2024) confirmed the band's growing reputation and earned them an Anděl award in the Rock category. Acid Row regularly tours Central Europe and has shared the stage with world-renowned names such as Clutch, Bongzilla, Red Fang, and Stoned Jesus. In 2026, they will release their fourth studio album Magic, which pushes their sound even further. The album straddles the line between stoner, doom, sludge, and noise rock, while the band retains its characteristic rawness, energy, and distinct melodic line. Blue Chesterfield Blue Chesterfield is an experimental band from Plzeň led by David Jirka, which combines art rock, post-punk, shoegaze, and dark country in its work. Their characteristic lo-fi sound is complemented by poetic lyrics and unconventional instrumentation featuring violins and saxophones. They have been active in the alternative scene since 2020 and have several recordings and performances at club stages and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad.
