A Space Opera

Description

«An Immersive Live Experience» — Music Show — Premiere «A Space Opera» takes the audience on an impressive journey through the vastness of the universe and through space and time. In the fusion of music, visual art, and storytelling, an immersive experience is created that makes science, history, and visions of the future fascinatingly tangible. Based on the groundbreaking insights of Galileo Galilei, the production spans from the beginnings of modern astronomy through the rapid development of technology and space travel to speculative future images and the world of science fiction. Past, present, and future merge into an impressive overall composition of image, sound, and light. An eight-member ensemble combines classical music with electronic soundscapes and modern film music. Works like Gustav Holst's «The Planets» meet contemporary soundscapes, inspired among others by Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Vangelis. From the concert grand to synthesizers, a multifaceted sound space is created that powerfully supports the visual dramaturgy. In four acts, an epic, emotional journey unfolds through the vastness of the universe—and at the same time into the inner self. «A Space Opera» invites reflection on our origins, our future, and our place in the cosmos.
An intense live experience for all who are inspired by music, images, and the great questions of humanity. A production by QUBE. www.aspaceopera.com
