Forget makeup, complex apparatus, and sophisticated lighting. In a minimalist space, as close as possible to the audience — some of whom are seated on stage — the company Gravity & Other Myths returns to the very essence of circus: raw strength, effort, and the camaraderie of a group of friends. On a surface reduced to a few square meters, the artists perform lifts and ground acrobatics with an energy that never wanes. Every breath is heard, the warmth of bodies is felt, and the reality of failure is perceived alongside the splendor of achievement. Accompanied by a live musician who sets the rhythm, the troupe transforms the cramped stage into an immersive playground, celebrating the collective that has triumphed worldwide since 2013.
