Revolution. Just the word. What is it? What was it? What is it supposed to be? A foundation of the future. An auction of the past. Where has hope gone, that everything could be different, yes better, that a revolution could be possible? Livio Andreina, Damiàn Dlaboha, and Christoph Fellmann – three Lucerne theater makers from three generations – ask themselves this and send their acting doubles on stage to deal with their revolutionary biography, which, however, is not really one. They question why they wished for upheaval intellectually but never contributed concretely to making it actually happen. They wonder how it could happen that they no longer believe in a better world at the core of their hearts. They talk about the relationship between art and political action. And then they do what men always do: they start cooking – until Vanessa Bärtsch, an actress and activist of the fourth generation, joins them on stage. A loud, crashing, but also smart and cheerful evening about the upcoming upheaval, about waiting for it, and of course with the matching menu suggestion.
