Description

Dürrenmatt's crime story "The Pledge" gets under your skin. It is as exciting as it is touching and at the same time sketches the psychogram of a persistent investigator. We follow the trail of the play – from the film to the novel to the stage adaptation. Using selected scenes, we ask ourselves: What drives Commissioner Matthäi to his fixed idea and life task? And how far can one go? We playfully question the different characters and explore their inner moral compass. A workshop for playing, exploring, and understanding – for a sharpened view of the production.
