KARLSRUHE CONCERTS 26/27 - WORLD STARS AND INTERNATIONAL TOP ORCHESTRAS 3rd Master Concert - Symphony Concert with Gábor Boldoczki FESTIVE LIGHTS OF GLORY For the traditional Christmas concert by Karlsruhe Concerts, the renowned Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn, which already impressed at its first guest performance in 2024 as part of the concert series, takes us on a musical journey through the history of Italian Baroque and Late Baroque. Festive works by five of the most significant Italian composers bring the joyful and celebratory atmosphere of the pre-Christmas season to life with special warmth and reverence. The soloist of the evening is the Hungarian star trumpeter and multiple ECHO Klassik award winner Gábor Boldoczki. Since winning the International Music Competition of the ARD in Munich, Boldoczki has regularly performed with renowned international orchestras worldwide during his concert tours. He was honored by the Hungarian Ministry of Culture with the highest state award for music, the "Franz Liszt Honorary Award." With his radiant sound and unique virtuosity, he will add festive brilliance to three selected concerts - some of which were personally arranged by Boldoczki for trumpet and flugelhorn.
