Experience one of the most famous chamber music works with the Tilia Quartet of the Berlin State Opera and Matthias Glander on clarinet: the Clarinet Quintet in A major, KV 581, as well as other treasures from the pen of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The namesake of the Tilia Quartet, founded in 2005, is its musical home, the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden (Tilia, Latin for Linden). In addition to regular performances in the concert series of the Berlin State Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic, the quartet has been invited to international festivals multiple times and has given numerous highly acclaimed concerts.
