Description

It was the last decade that also classified West German history under the label 'Cold War'. In the FRG, the megaphones of the peace movement sounded, demonstrations against nuclear power took place, and of course, the relationship with the GDR and the then Soviet Union was on the agenda. And from 1985, a West German hacker group manipulated various computer systems and served the Russian secret service. Karl Koch played a central role in this, a young, technically brilliant mind, a drug addict, and receptive to conspiracy stories. Hans-Christian Schmid processes in the thriller "23" the story of the so-called KGB hack around the central figure Karl Koch. He is driven and focused at the same time, suffers from all sorts of alleged threats, and increasingly regards his interventions as fundamental political actions. And then again the question arises: how much can be explained and brought into a system? And where does the truth remain? In cooperation with the Digital Society and the Chaos Computer Club Switzerland.
