In 2027, the outstanding orchestra Wiener Akademie celebrates the great Beethoven anniversary. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the death of the brilliant composer, the Vienna top orchestra presents an exciting Beethoven cycle at the Elbphilharmonie. Divided into four anniversary concerts, all nine symphonies, which are among the most popular works in music history, will be performed. Worldwide, the "fantastic orchestra Wiener Akademie," as recently praised by the Hamburger Abendblatt, is celebrated with its founder Martin Haselböck as one of the best orchestras for original sound. From Vienna, where they design a concert cycle in the legendary Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, they carry the original sounds out into the wide world – to New York, Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile. In 2027, the Orchestra Wiener Akademie celebrates the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's death with a special concert cycle at the Elbphilharmonie. Over four evenings, all nine symphonies of the composer, which are among the most famous works in music history, will be performed.
