The Zurich Chamber Singers, founded over eleven years ago, are one of Switzerland's leading professional choirs, known for their versatile and refined singing. In this concert in Seon, they explore the theme of Christmas through works by French composers Pierre Villette, Olivier Messiaen, and Francis Poulenc, alongside traditional Noëls. The program includes a comparison of Villettes and Messiaen's settings of a prayer attributed to Thomas Aquinas, offering a unique insight into their approaches to the Christmas theme.
