The Kladno band Zrní has been active since 2001 in the same lineup, which is quite a rare phenomenon in the domestic scene. The five classmates from high school have developed a specific style over 25 years of playing together, where classic rock core meets violins, electronics, and layered, metaphorical lyrics in Czech. The musicians themselves characterize their work as "gentle art brut" or "Kladno coal zen." They draw inspiration from natural laws and landscapes, while also reflecting the fast-paced, industrial present. In 2026, the band definitively closed the concert era associated with their successful previous album Široko daleko. The main focus shifted to the studio, where members spent months intensively working on new music.
